In Frankreich wurde am 24. April ein Gesetzentwurf veröffentlicht, der für neue Bauvorhaben bei Gebäuden mit mehr als 25 Wohnungen eine Vorverkabelung mit Glasfaser verpflichtend vorschreibt (Luc Chatel, Regierungssprecher). Ziel sei es, schnellem Breitband einen weiteren Anschub zu geben. Die mit der Auflage verbundenen Kosten sollen sich im Kaufpreis der Wohnungen widerspiegeln. Der Gesetzentwurf soll im Sommer ins Parlament eingebracht und im Herbst diskutiert werden.
Die Regierung rechnet in dem Zusammenhang mit Investitionen in FttH-Netze (Glasfaser ins Haus) in Höhe von 10 Mrd. €.
Wenn ich das lese, wünsche ich mir sehr, dass wir eine vergleichbare Diskussion hier in Deutschland beginnen. Wir laufen sonst Gefahr, im Standortwettbewerb weit nach hinten zu fallen. Zu einer solchen Diskussion gehört dann auch eine Regelung über den Zugang der Netzbegtreiber zu dieser Inhouse-Infrastruktur. Muß man dem Hausbesitzer dafür etwas bezahlen? Wenn ja, wieviel? Gilt auch hier "must carry"?
Zumindest von der Standardisierungsseite passiert mittlerweile einiges in Deutschland. Mehr dazu in den kommenden Tagen.

We, Roel de Vries and Melany Vossen, are students at the university of Avans in the Netherlands. We are finishing our last year of our degree Management, Economics & Law in the Netherlands. Our final report is about the latest trends and developments(-/+ 5 year) of the FttH-market in the following countries: Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. The articles, research rapports, presentations we found on the internet have been a help to the knowledge we developed about the Ftth-market. However the information we found is to general, not complete or become to absolete to use for our Final report. That’s the reason why we have some questions about the German Ftth marked and the articles on this forum.
-We noticed that there are only 4 Ftth projects in Germany (hamburg, koln, Schwerte, munchen). If you compare that with other European countries (Netherlands, Denmark Sweden, France) Germany is laying behind.
Can you describe some reasons why the German FttH rollout is laying behind in germany?
-Are there any other public statements of Ftth rollouts in other cities in Germany?
-Can you tell me something about the ‘closed’ networks in Germany (what’s the reason they are closed, Is this going to change in the future)
-who are the German civil workers?(the companies who are digging the holes en putting the cables into the ground)
